Can You Find Chris Dodd In This Picture? … He’s The One Clearly On The Left - Senators Chris Dodd and Jim Jeffords were on hand at the Pentagon to echo the National Women's Law Center's praise for DoD's child development program. The center May 16 presented Defense Secretary William Cohen with its report on military child care, which extols the program as a model for the nation. Dodd hailed DoD's program as the "gold standard." Jeffords pointed out that absenteeism caused by poor quality child care costs American businesses more than $3 billion a year. Image Credit: Linda D. Dodd Diving A Dud!
Homeless man and career criminal burglarizes career politician and gets arrested.
The sad thing about this incident is that the perpetrator did not even know that he was breaking into the office of a presidential candidate.
Truth is, just about anyone (outside of the state of Connecticut and those who see themselves as democrat party insiders) wouldn’t know that they had just broken into the office of a presidential candidate.
This last month, Christopher Dodd defends and shows up to an annual gathering put on by the politically incendiary, rude, and tasteless web site – Daily Kos, and even HE can’t get arrested!
Senator Christopher Dodd Commenting On Daily Kos blogsite –
Mr. Dodd clearly had an agenda which was to NOT address the fabricated photo of his friend, Joe Lieberman, unzipping President Bush's pants. This guy claims to be Lieberman's friend and he didn't rebuke the people "DailyKos" folks whom he's patronizing next week? Void of character, Mr. Dodd is the epitome of today's democrat. At least Gilbert Soto (the suspect) had temporary custody of ... and sold a television, a computer, got arrested, and gets noticed.
The burglar gets more attention than the presidential candidate (this story did not appear in the web version of the Washington Post until six day after the article was released by Associated Press).

Democrat Dodd's Office Burglarized
By STEPHANIE REITZ - The Associated Press, HARTFORD, Conn - Monday, August 27, 2007; 9:13 PM
Officers arrested a homeless man Monday in connection with a weekend burglary at the office of Democratic presidential candidate Chris Dodd, police said.
Gilbert Soto, 48, who lives in a city shelter and has a lengthy arrest record, allegedly took a television, computer and other items from Dodd's Senate district office, police said Monday.
"It does not appear right now that he knew he was breaking into a presidential candidate's office or that there was any political motivation," Assistant Police Chief Neil Dryfe said.
----
Soto is, "for lack of a better term, a career criminal," Dryfe said, and appears to have selected the burglary site at random. He faces charges of third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and criminal mischief.
"It looks like a crime of opportunity by someone looking to support a possible drug habit," Dryfe said, adding that Dodd's office was notified of the arrest.
Dodd has served in the Senate since 1981.
Dodd spokeswoman Justine Sessions said she had no comment on the investigation or arrest. To the best of her knowledge, she said, no personal or confidential information was compromised when the computer was stolen.

Come on, elected five term United States Senator Christopher Dodd was one time General Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, is he really in the running? Maybe this effort of running for President is only a crime of opportunity.
At MAXINE, we believe it’s a little tough to have information compromised when no one is "paying" attention (how good can the information really be?), or have any political motivation to support your efforts to become the president of the United States when one exhibits the kind of character Christopher Dodd has shown.

The Slide Continues - Gay Episcopal Bishop Backs "Muslim" For President

The long, slow slide to the bottom rung of respected, tradition based, organized religion ladder in America ... continues - Gay Episcopal Bishop Backs "Muslim" For President
What ever happened to the separation between Church and State?
Obama feels his experience living in Indonesia, being taught in Muslim schools for four years as a child, and his ability to speak to Muslims could make him a better president. Apparently so does Episcopal bishop, Reverend V. Gene Robinson.
This is really rich … why don’t we all just throw standards to out the window entirely and not have an election at all! Why don’t we just appoint whomever the Episcopal Church of these United States endorses ... you know, the one that has a good percentage of traditional Episcopal churches seeking to be associated with Episcopal/Anglican governing bodies as far away as ... Africa!

N.H.'s Episcopal bishop backs Obama's run
By JAMES W. PINDELL, Boston Globe - August 3, 2007
New Hampshire's Episcopal bishop, the Reverend V. Gene Robinson, endorsed US Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign, saying Obama had a background in faith and activism to which he could relate.
Robinson became an internationally controversial figure in 2003 when he became the first openly gay bishop of the Episcopal Church.
His appointment created a schism that led many to leave the church. The international Anglican Communion has threatened to split from the American church.
The public endorsement of Obama could set off even more uneasiness within the church, which has not been overtly involved in electoral politics.
In a conference call with reporters yesterday, Robinson said that after the Obama campaign reached out to him he became impressed with Obama and "shared his values."
"His experience as a community organizer and as one that did it from a faith background represents the kind of change we need," Robinson said.
Robinson said he has never publicly endorsed a candidate before and will not use the pulpit to advocate for Obama. Yet, his endorsement of Obama is the latest sign in Robinson's growing political profile. Earlier in the year Robinson lobbied New Hampshire lawmakers to become the first state in the nation to approve same-sex civil unions without a court mandate. He also said he plans to enter into a civil union with his partner.
In addition, he has been a public advocate against the state's death penalty.
When it comes to gay marriage, Robinson says he disagrees with Obama's stance of only favoring allowing civil unions.
"At this moment we have no viable candidate who is where we would like them to be on these issues," he said.
Unlike many Democratic candidates in the past the Obama campaign has actively sought out religious groups. In New Hampshire, Obama volunteers organized discussions around the state about the interplay of faith and activism.

Obama: My Muslim Ties Are a Strength
NewsMax - Tuesday, April 24, 2007 10:00 p.m. EDT
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on Tuesday tried to reassure Jewish voters concerned about his Muslim ties, arguing that his commitment to Israel's security is unwavering.
----
"If I go to Jakarta and address the largest Muslim country on earth, I can say, 'Apa kabar,' — you know, 'How are you doing?' — and they can recognize that I understand their common humanity," Obama said. "That is a strength, and it allows me to say things to them that other presidents might not be able to say. And that's part of what's promising, I think, about this presidency."
Obama's stepfather was Indonesian, and the future senator lived in the country from ages 6 to 10.

Senator H.R. Clinton - NOT Presidential Material
A new Time Magazine national poll has New York Senator Hillary Clinton leading the democratic pack with 40-percent, 19-points ahead of Illinois Senator Barack Obama. Now all eyes are on Clinton as she heads to Iowa this weekend and her trip could tell us a lot about how she plans to run her primary campaign. Image Credit: KCRG News
Senator H.R. Clinton - NOT Presidential Material
In an "Off-With-Their-Heads" proclamation combined with whiney "If President ... I don’t want the responsibility" attitude, now Senator, Hillary Rodham Clinton proves SHE is NOT up to the task of Presidential leadership.
If she had her way, the heavy lifting and responsibility of being leader of the most powerful free nation on earth would be removed so that she would be able to concentrate on what she really wants to do … create a liberal, popularity-loving, and socialist America.

Clinton wants all U.S. troops out of Iraq when Bush leaves office
The Associated Press - Published: January 28, 2007
DAVENPORT, Iowa: U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday that U.S. President George W. Bush should withdraw all U.S. troops from Iraq before he leaves office, saying it would be "the height of irresponsibility" to pass the war along to the next commander in chief.
"This was his decision to go to war with an ill-conceived plan and an incompetently executed strategy," the Democratic senator said her in first presidential campaign tour through the early-voting state of Iowa.
"We expect him to extricate our country from this before he leaves office" in January 2009, the former first lady said.
The White House condemned Clinton's comments as a partisan attack that undermines U.S. soldiers.
----
Pressed during a forum to defend her vote to authorize force in Iraq before the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003, Clinton responded by increasing her criticism of Bush.
"I am going to level with you, the president has said this is going to be left to his successor," Clinton said. "I think it is the height of irresponsibility and I really resent it."
Bush describes Iraq as the central front in the global fight against terrorism that began after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. "The war on terror will be a problem for the next president. Presidents after me will be confronting ... an enemy that would like to strike the United States again," he recently told USA Today newspaper.
One questioner asked Clinton if her track record showed she could stand up to "evil men" around the world.
"The question is, we face a lot of dangers in the world and, in the gentleman's words, we face a lot of evil men and what in my background equips me to deal with evil and bad men," Clinton said. She paused to gaze while the audience interrupted with about 30 seconds of laughter and applause.
----
During the town hall meeting, she tried to make clear that she thinks she would be a chief executive with enough fortitude to confront any danger facing the country.
"I believe that a lot in my background and a lot in my public life shows the character and toughness that is required to be president," Clinton said. "It also shows that I want to get back to bringing the world around to support us again."

Hillary ought not limit her demands to a single item (that the United States leave Iraq and its potential representative spread of Islamo-fascism throughout the world) ...
... Hillary ought to insist that Bush also complete ALL of the following, so as not to "irresponsibly" pass-on these additional items to the next President ... so that SHE may focus on more important items during her tenure:
1) Rebuild all of New Orleans to better than original. This will allow her to focus on more creative, village-supported initiatives.
2) Eradicate the H5N1 flu virus from all sectors throughout the world (don’t forget to include a plan for free vaccination to all if his administration is not successful by the end of 2008).
3) Revamp the entire automobile infrastructure so that our country is not dependent on foreign oil before the next President takes office. This includes market availability of automobiles and hundreds of thousands of ethanol stations for fuel. The will allow her (or any next President) to not have to deal with the issues of ANWAR, Mideast oil, and the other sticky issues surrounding petroleum-based economies.
4) Why not insist that Bush rebuild all of Mexico along with its failed economy and culture so that the border problem just goes away. After all, terrorist security will be a thing of the past because He will have already pulled our troops out of Iraq.
5) Oh yes, make the Social Security solvency problem just go away!
6) Sign the Kyoto Protocol -- so that Global Warming will be just a thing of the past.
7)
8)
9)
AND ETC. - Please feel free to add your own wishes of problems to be eliminated due to the fact that if the problem still exists ... it must be irresponsible that the problem remains for the next President to deal with.
At MAXINE, our reaction to Hillary's apparent fear of the challenge of leadership this stance shows -- assuming that She is elected President.
"WE REALLY RESENT IT!"
The statements made by New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton are just NOT Presidential and this episode proves she is NOT Presidential material.
