Ground Zero Imam Issues Threat To New Yorkers ... et al!

In what has to be a classic example of how the religion of perpetual outrage, Islam, takes a "finger in everyone's eye" approach to dealing with propriety, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the religious leader behind the proposed Islamic Center near Ground Zero - yesterday spoke to CNN about the controversy and issues a threat to New Yorkers and the rest of the free world.

Said Rauf, "If this is not handled correctly, this crisis could become much bigger than the Danish cartoon crisis, which resulted in attacks on Danish embassies in various parts of the Muslim world,” Rauf said later. “…. If we don't handle this crisis correctly it could become something which could really become very, very, very dangerous indeed.”

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf says the reason he can’t move the Islamic center now is because of national security concerns, saying parts of the Muslim world would be violently inflamed at the news of the center’s relocation.

“The headlines in the Muslim world will be that Islam is under attack… (there’s) the danger of the radicals in the Muslim world to our national security, to the national security of our troops,” he said.

“If we do move,” Rauf continued, “it will strengthen the argument of the radicals to recruit, their ability to recruit, and their increasing aggression and violence ... .”

"If we move from that location, the story will be the radicals have taken over the discourse," the imam told CNN in his first televised interview since returning from a two-week State Department-sponsored cooperation tour of the Middle East.

So he characterizes anyone who believes that Muslims have the right to build but object because of the context that Islam attacked us already by flying planes into the World Trade Center towers and killed thousands of innocent people not related to their outrage and grievance against freedom of thought of the free world ... as RADICALS.

We, at MAXINE, have to ask - Isn't flying hijacked commercial planes into buildings and killing thousands of people while destroying massive amounts of property ... RADICAL?

The truth is this mosque project, its location, its naming, and timing of its celebration of launch of September 11, 2011 ... exactly 10 years after radical Islams attack on the United States ... is the definition of RADICAL and it should not be allowed to stand.

Take this and all other Imam's threats of violence and throw them back into their face.

The highest level of threat that the Ground Zero Imam stated in his responses to Soledad O'Brian in the CNN interview-based article (Ground Zero Imam Issues Threat To New Yorkers ... et al!) is to label all of the people who do not think a Mosque should be placed at "Ground Zero" - named Cordoba, set to be launched exactly 10 years to the date of the attacks on the World Trade Center (about 70% of most American's asked) - RADICALS.

Just now on ABC, Meredith Vieira let a CAIR spokesman label these same Americans as Racists. When will the illegitimate name calling from Muslim Haters end?

Vieira let Council on American-Islamic Relations' (CAIR) Zead Ramadan go on, uninterrupted, as he proceeded to compare the protest surrounding the Ground Zero mosque to some of America's worst moments of intolerance as he went on to say:

"The issue with the public sentiment is that when an issue is related to bigotry, unfortunately our history has shown that sometimes we're on the wrong side. For example we interred Japanese during World War II, we segregated our military, our schools, and it took on Executive Order to undo that. And we also enslaved our fellow Americans. So I mean when it comes to bigotry we've got to be careful about the public sentiment."

This Ground Zero Mosque issue over principles is probably the clearest example that we are in a culturally-based Values War with Muslims and they are the ones looking for the fight. The Muslim culture would like to erase American culture and the freedoms it once guaranteed through the Bill Of Rights and the Constitution.

It's Official - Pakistan Taliban Behind Failed NY Times Square Bomb Plot

Well laa-tee-daa, it has been reported today in an article produced by Reuters that the U.S. says Pakistani Taliban behind bomb attempt.

Nearly everyone who found out that an SUV was discovered, parked in Times Square, smoking, filled with un-exploded bomb materials, felt that the first suspects on that list would have been people of Muslim upbringing and middle-east decent - PERIOD.

Sadly, our current crop of political leaders do not want to protect the rest of us by playing the odds. NO ... the first public statements out of their mouths attack the character of the average naturally born American who believes that our current Government and its leaders have lost their way given American Culture.

On the very day this plot was discovered, Mayor Bloomberg of the city of New York speculated to CBS Evening News Anchor Katie Couric that the suspect behind the bombing attempt could be a domestic terrorist angry at the government who acted alone.

"If I had to guess 25 cents, this would be exactly that. Homegrown, or maybe a mentally deranged person, or somebody with a political agenda that doesn't like the [recently passed Obamacare law] health care bill or something. It could be anything," he said.

"There is no evidence here of a conspiracy, there is no evidence that it's tied into anything else. It looks like an amateurish job done by at least one person," he told Couric.

U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano called the scare a "potential terrorist attack" but she and other officials held off saying whether there was a link to Islamist groups or to a domestic cause in the United States. In an interview on FOX & Friends on FOX News, she would not specifically classify the potential bomb a terrorist attack or event - YouTube below.

A U.S. intelligence official told Reuters "we just don't know at this point who may be behind this event. We believe it is a one-off event"

To be truthful, given the odds proven out over the last 15 months and the majority of this 44th Presidency of the United States, one could easily speculate that if there is a bomb set to go off, or a gun to be fired into a crowd it would be a high 95%+ probability that the people behind the action would have been people of Muslim upbringing and middle-east decent.

These people who are found to be behind these actions of terrorism and murder are of this demographic and are at war (which is not a ONE-OFF event) with the western industrialized world. The United States of America sits at the top of this world as being the most successful and productive, and hence ... the most visible target.

Attorney General Eric Holder on Sunday said evidence shows a Pakistan Taliban group closely allied with al Qaeda was behind the attempted bombing in New York's Times Square. Holder, in an interview on ABC television's "This Week," said there was nothing to suggest the Pakistani government was aware of the plot.

"We know that they helped facilitate it. We know that they probably helped finance it. And that he was working at their direction," he [Atty. Gen. Eric Holder] said, referring to Faisal Shahzad, the Pakistan-born naturalized American who is now under arrest. Shahzad, 30, was arrested last Monday, two days after authorities say he parked a crude car bomb in New York's busy Times Square. Authorities say he as been cooperating in the investigation.

Some lawmakers have suggested that people accused of terrorism should not have all the rights accorded to those charged with less serious crimes.

Holder said it was important the government have the flexibility it needs to counter acts of terrorism but that any changes have to meet constitutional requirements.

On NBC's "Meet the Press," Holder said the administration will suggest some changes to Congress that recognize the reality that terrorism is a rising risk for the United States. "We want to work with Congress to come up with a way in which we make our public safety exception more flexible and again more consistent with the threat we face ... This is a proposal that we're going to be making and that we want to work with Congress about," Holder said.

President Barack Obama's assistant for national security, John Brennan, appearing on CNN's "State of the Union," also cited Shahzad's al Qaeda link, saying evidence showed he was working with a Pakistani militant group closely allied with al Qaeda.

Yesterday, Jake Tapper of ABC News had a sit down interview with President Barack Obama at the White House that covered many of the pressing issues of the day from the economy (unemployment at 10.2%), the Congress passing its version of a Health Care system overhaul (that included a ban on Federal funding of abortion procedures), Afghanistan and a slow-paced troop build-up, and a small discussion on the mass murder rampage by Major Nidal Malik Hasan at Fort Hood and its meaning in the face of 9/11, jihad, and acts of terrorism.

One would expect that President Obama, as Commander-In-Chief over all of our American military, would have a profound and decisive response to almost any act that would be damaging to the moral, unity of purpose, and overall readiness of our armed forces. Sadly, Barack Hussein Obam(Mmmm, Mmmmm, Mmmmmm)a's response, and this in light that this Nov. 5 shooting rampage happened 4 days ago, was anything but one that had the steely resolve of a Commander-In-Chief.

No, the response from Barack Obama was one of a Chicago university law professor, ending a discussion where he wanted the students to think of the professor as one burdened with so much knowledge, that a direct and resolved answer would give away too much and spur the students to want to study more.

On Tuesday, Obama will attend a memorial service at Fort Hood for the 13 killed in last week's shooting. Today he reiterated that the nation is "heartbroken" by what happened there Thursday, but said there are many questions to be answered.

The president was asked about an ABC News report that intelligence officials learned months ago that Maj. Malik Nidal Hasan had reached out via the Internet to al Qaeda affiliates, and had passed it into military intelligence, though no official actions seem to have been taken. But he wouldn't say directly whether he was concerned that the U.S. government failed to communicate with itself as was seen in the investigation into 9/11.

Asked what philosophically separates an act of violence from an act of terrorism, the president said, "I think the questions that we're asking now and we don't have yet complete answers to is, is this an individual who's acting in this way or is it some larger set of actors? You know, what are the motivations? Those are all questions that I think we have to ask ourselves. Until we have these answers buttoned down, I'd rather not comment on it.

Obama's statement on May 31, 2009, just hours after George Tiller's death (the assassination of a renowned abortion doctor at the hands of another): "I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence."

Why couldn't have Obama issued a statement similar just hours as opposed to days after the murderous act to the statement he issued for the Tiller murder like ... "However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as religious freedom and jihad, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence."

As Commander-In-Chief over all of our American military, President Barack Obama has an obligation to lead and protect - not to philosophize over what type of mass murder this act represents ... but to make sure it does not happen again beyond any considerations of Political Correctness.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, four passenger jets were hijacked by islamo-fascist terrorists in a plot devised by al Qaeda to disrupt the economic security of our country and to bring our society down.

Today, eight years later, Barack Obama and his executive Administration are attempting to dilute and hijack the importance of this day that, at best, was an act of war and recast the remembrance of "9/11" into something completely different ... something unrecognizable from its original intent.

This effort to reshape the American psyche has nothing to do with healing the nation and everything to do with easing the nation along in the ongoing radical transformation of America that President Obama promised during last year's election campaign. The president signed into law a measure in April that designated Sept. 11 as a National Day of Service, but it's not likely many lawmakers thought this meant that day was going to be turned into a celebration of ethanol, carbon emission controls, and radical community organizing.

The administration's plans were outlined in an Aug. 11 White House-sponsored teleconference call run by Obama ally Lennox Yearwood, president of the Hip Hop Caucus, and Liv Havstad, the group's senior vice president of strategic partnerships and programs.

The plan is to turn a "day of fear" that helps Republicans into a day of activism called the National Day of Service that helps the left. In other words, nihilistic liberals are planning to drain 9/11 of all meaning.

"They think it needs to be taken back from the right," said the source. "They're taking that day and they're breaking it because it gives Republicans an advantage. To them, that day is a fearful day."

A coalition including the unsavory left-wing pressure group Color of Change and about 60 far-left, environmentalist, labor, and corporate shakedown groups participated in the call. Groups on the call included: ACORN, AFL-CIO, Apollo Alliance, Community Action Partnership, Deep South Center for Environmental Justice, 80 Million Strong for Young American Jobs, Friends of the Earth, Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, Mobilize.org, National Black Police Association, National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, National Council of Negro Women, National Wildlife Federation, RainbowPUSH Coalition, Urban League, and Young Democrats of America.

Basically, the new "brown shirt" leagues of the Obama Administration will do anything to hijack any vestige of what would pass for an American culture and patriotism and co-opt the effort to capture private efforts and turn them into service to, and for, the state envisioned by Barack Obama.

The largest insult from all of this activity, is that it assumes that Americans are not giving ... especially not giving to their communities and their neighbors. This assumption shows the depravity of understanding of self-reliant human beings and the cynical political philosophy of the person we have elected to become the 44th President of these United States.

However subtle, this re-branding proclamation of April 21, 2009 and series of conference calls by organizations aligned with the politically radical (communist) left in this country poses a far greater threat to freedom-loving life in this country than anything al Qaeda could muster up at this time. Barack Obama wants to consume and end this Constitutional country from within.

Please, REMEMBER 9/11 for what it really was, an act of war ... and REMEMBER the culture that made this country great.
