Corporate Compassion - Not Oxymoron

H-E-B delivers food, supplies to aid rescue workers in Mexico

A gas explosion trapped 65 coal miners almost a mile below the earth's surface on Feb. 19. Rescue workers are in the process of excavating the mines for survivors.

"To have H-E-B assist the families of the mines makes my heart swell with pride," says H-E-B employee Rosie Guerra, whose cousin Jesus Morales remains trapped in the mine. "I have been with H-E-B for almost 15 years, and I still am amazed at the way H-E-B extends its helping hand to those in need, even as far as Sabinas."
