New Obama “Forward” Slogan Has Deeper Ties Than To Just MSNBC's Lean Forward

Obama's re-election team unveiled its new motto in a video released Monday morning. The seven-minute video begins by recalling the grim state of the nation's economy when Obama took office, then ticks through what the campaign says are the president's accomplishments, both on the economy and other issues. New Obama slogan has long ties to Marxism, socialism
By Victor Morton – April 30, 2012, 06:56PM

The Obama campaign apparently didn’t look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, “Forward” — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.
Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name “Forward!” or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called “Forward (generic name of socialist publications).”

“The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications,” the online encyclopedia explains.

The slogan “Forward!” reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.

The Obama campaign released its new campaign slogan Monday in a 7-minute video. The title card has simply the word “Forward” with the “O” having the familiar Obama logo from 2008. It will be played at rallies this weekend that mark the Obama re-election campaign’s official beginning.

There have been at least two radical-left publications named “Vorwaerts” (the German word for “Forward”). One was the daily newspaper of the Social Democratic Party of Germany whose writers included Friedrich Engels and Leon Trotsky. It still publishes as the organ of Germany’s SDP, though that party has changed considerably since World War II. Another was the 1844 biweekly reader of the Communist League. Karl Marx, Engels and Mikhail Bakunin are among the names associated with that publication.

East Germany named its Army soccer club ASK Vorwaerts Berlin (later FC Vorwaerts Frankfort).
Vladimir Lenin founded the publication “Vpered” (the Russian word for “forward”) in 1905. Soviet propaganda film-maker Dziga Vertov made a documentary whose title is sometimes translated as “Forward, Soviet” (though also and more literally as “Stride, Soviet”).

Conservative critics of the Obama administration have noted numerous ties to radicalism and socialists throughout Mr. Obama’s history, from his first political campaign being launched from the living room of two former Weather Underground members, to appointing as green jobs czar Van Jones, a self-described communist.

In this country, this is all very interesting especially when one considers that Media Matters (a George Soros funded progressive viewpoint internet communications group), which has admitted to writing the headline news for MSNBC news segment anchors in co-ordination with the Obama Administration, amounts to the only thing FORWARD about this White House and its campaign to retain control for another four years.

So, we at MAXINE believe, it is time for all of us to LEAN FORWARD and end Carter's Second Term of failures come November 2012 and vote for … Mitt Romney so we can really take our country forward to the successes that made America great from the very beginning.

Huh, GOP critics Obama's FORWARD slogan has ties to radiacal and socialist! So is Scott Walker's Wisconsin quarter coin has FORWARD slogan too.Wow, Obama and Wisconsin have same slogan! The people want to move forward but Walker wants to turn backward, hmmm!

At least Governor Scott Walker seeks to reduce the size and influence of Government and its associated Public Unions to save his state (which was a campaign commitment that helped to get him elected) ... what in the HEdouble-toothpicks has our supreme leader, President Barack Obama, done to fulfill his campaign commitment to "reduce the nation's deficit by half" ... oopsy!

Instead of reducing the nation's deficit, he has increased the deficit by over 30% through adding nearly 6 X 1,000 billion dollars (that's $6 Trillion for those that cannot add) or about a total of $50,000 owed by everyone who resides here in the US (including some who have not been born yet) ... and President Barack Obama is asking the Congress for another increase in the debt ceiling!!!!!!!!

This issue is really not a matter of taxation on the Federal level (although the code needs to be simplified and cleaned up so everyone who makes money, participates), this is clearly an issue of the increase in the size and scope of government in our daily lives and its ability to spend money it does not intend to pay back.

#FORWARD t h a t!

This is stupid. The U.S. military has been using the slogan "Moving Forward" for some time. I have seen that slogan given as the explanation for the backwards American flag worn on the right shoulder of soldier uniforms. (Actually, I always thought a backwards or upside down flag was a distress signal).

So is the U.S. military "socialist" for using "Moving Forward" as a slogan, and using the phrase in its explanation of the backward flag worn by soldiers? I doubt it.

It is interesting how these anti-Obama memes are picked up and disseminated so rapidly... I credit military psyops agent contractor operatives working on the public's dime...

Okay, so the Obama Administration setting up a shadow government through the use of over 35 "Czars" that hail primarily from pure progressive (read that as socialist) educational institutions and not actually working in the fields they are supposed to represent was never a cause for alarm.

I suppose this is why (with the addition of over 2,000 new bureaucratic regulations and an expansion of the budgets in all government agencies) our society and effectiveness of the economy are doing soooooo well. Geeeeeeez.

These "Anti-Obama" memes are not necessarily untrue.
