Reasons 31-40 Of Hewitt's 100 Reasons To Vote For Romney And Against Obama 2012

It is time for a 45th Presidency - To this end, Hugh Hewitt has come up with 100 reasons to vote for Mitt Romney or against Barack Obama and these series of posts will highlight ten (or so) points to consider for your vote to have a 45th President elected come November 6, 2012. Reasons 31-40 Of Hewitt's 100 Reasons To Vote For Romney And Against Obama 2012

On Monday, September 24, 2012, Constitutional and environmental issues Lawyer/Professor, nationally syndicated afternoon issues talk show host, Hugh Hewitt delivered a tour de force presentation for three hours on the reasons why we need a change in executive leadership in the United States. This change can happen with our vote for president in the 2012 elections which early voting has already started in many states, but will officially take place November 6, 2012.

*** Hewitt's reasons 31-40 of 100 - LISTEN HERE>>

This edition explores reasons 31-40 which highlight: From the muffed Russian relations "reset button" to the candid wink and nod between President Obama to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, "wait until I get elected to a second term" caution captured on an open microphone ... opens this edition of 100 reasons to vote for a 95th presidency in November. The placing in disarray the nuclear deterrent used by Poland and the Czech Republic. Obama's abandonment of the newly democratic Iraq without a status of forces agreement and his continued fumbling of Afghanistan with a "date certain" withdrawal resulting in needless insider murders of troops. MOST IMPORTANT - This 44th President's over-reaching draw down of America's military power and position in the world by first reducing our Naval power to critical levels. Under Reagan, our Navy totaled 600 ships - under common agreement with Congress, this level had been set to be no lower than 313 ships - under Obama, the Navy operates only 282 ships and if given another 4 years is expected to become 250 ships. This Commander-In-Chief' s elimination of a march toward air superiority with the killing of the F22 Raptor fighter jet - the elimination of 100,000 standing troops from the Marines and Army.

In a presentation which Hugh Hewitt titled 100 reasons why you should vote for Mitt Romney and against Barack Obama, Hugh proceeded point by point with full explanation and in no particular order 100 specific reasons Mitt Romney would make a better president to lead our country mixed in with the specific reasons why Barack Obama has not been a successful leader in the more than 1,000 days he has been president.

Since a three hour presentation of dense information may be a little hard to chew on in one session, here is one of ten postings that breaks up the 100 reasons in approximately 10 reason apiece chunks that can be savored and digested upon which one can become fully informed before making a freedom and country saving vote in this most important election.

100 Reason To Vote For Mitt Romney Or Against Barack Obama
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 8:12 PM

After yet another dispiriting Browns' performance yesterday, I decided to redeem the day by listing 100 reasons to either vote for Mitt Romney or against Barack Obama. I turned that list into a three hour monologue on today's show -- the first such in 12 years of radio.
It wasn't hard to do. Not hard at all. Which is why I think Romney will win going away. The president is a failure, on every level and by every measurement. Americans don't endorse failure.

"Vote Early, and Vote Often" ... but most importantly, vote informed and reviewing all of Hewitt's 100 reasons to vote for Romney and against Obama 2012 may at least allow one to open up a discussion with themselves, and others, as to what issues might be the most important in this upcoming 2012 election.

This edition explores reasons 21-30 which highlight: The pick of Congressman Paul Ryan as Vice President and his knowledge on budgets versus President Obama’s pick of … Joe Biden. Foreign relations, Israel, and its comparison with the Carter years. President Obama’s relationship with Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin (Bibi) Netanyahu. America’s response to the Iranian “Green Revolution“, the “leading from behind” doctrine, Syria, and finally, the growth and influence of al Qaeda. America’s influence with China and Russia and how it has changed in four years.

President Barack Obama Delivers DNC Speech In Familiar Style

President Barack Obama Delivers DNC Speech In Familiar Style

This live blog effort needs to be read just as one would read a Twitter feed … from the bottom up, in order to grab the full effect of the speech given to us by our President, Barack Obama.

The speech was reviewed with MSNBC saying, “If you are Barack Obama, how do you top Barack Obama?” Sadly, once one has experienced Barack Obama, his speaking style, his cadence, his over-reaching promises, and etc. … one does not have anything to look forward to. Barack Obama is a robot … a talking robot … a TALKBOT.

What one will be exposed here in this live Tweet-By-Tweet blog is what subjects the TALKBOT was programmed with and in what order. Again, read from the bottom up and see how this programmed speech could have been the weakest speech that Barack Obama has ever given – it is because there is a record of failure.

An A student who turned in a C paper as summed up by Charles Krauthammer.

Cardinal Dolan @CardinalDolan
I look forward to praying at the DNC tonight. As I did at the RNC, I go as a pastor. Not to endorse any party, platform, or candidate.

This excerpted and edited from ABC News -

Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the archbishop of New York and a leading Catholic-American voice opposing abortion and President Obama’s health care reform law, inserted what some saw as an anti-abortion remark into his benediction Thursday night at the Democratic National Convention.

“Thus do we praise you for the gift of life. Grant us to defend it. Life, without which no other rights are secure. We ask your benediction on those waiting to be born, that they may be welcomed and protected,” Dolan said in prayer delivered immediately following President Obama’s address accepting his party’s nomination.

Dolan offered a similar benediction at the Republican National Convention last week in Tampa, Fla. Following his prayer there, he gave an interview saying he was non-partisan and would be glad to offer a benediction at the DNC this week in Charlotte, N.C. Democrats then extended an invitation.

In Tampa, he called life an “inalienable gift” and prayed for God’s “benediction upon those yet to be born and on those who are about to see you at the end of this life.”

The Catholic Church has long opposed Democratic Party platform planks that promote keeping abortion legal. More recently, the church assailed the administration over an Affordable Care Act provision that would require religious institutions to provide employees with contraception.

Barack Obama Doodler-In-Chief

Barack Obama Doodler-In-Chief

This article published in the New York Times is just priceless. If anyone reads this article titled "The Competitor in Chief — Obama Plays To Win, In Politics and Everything Else" and questions the President as to the factual nature of this article, one may find out that this is a man many people just could not warm up to.

The article opens up with this following paragraph; As Election Day approaches, President Obama is sharing a few important things about himself. He has mentioned more than once in recent weeks that he cooks “a really mean chili.” He has impressive musical pitch, he told an Iowa audience. He is “a surprisingly good pool player,” he informed an interviewer — not to mention (though he does) a doodler of unusual skill.

Where was this article in 2008 during the run up to the last presidential election? Oh yes ... this article was where the actual colleagues, friends, teachers, and grades achieved by Barack Obama during his college years were stored!

This article from Forbes, which analyses the New York Times front page article, serves as great reading while filling time between speakers who stand up and talk at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina over the next three days. If the speakers do not make you realize we have operated under the wrong leadership over these last three and a half years ... this article will.

New York Times Proves Clint Eastwood Correct -- Obama Is Lousy CEO

BY  Rich Karlgaard, Forbes Staff - 9/03/2012 @ 12:34PM

A New York Times front page story today — New York Times! — might have killed President Obama’s re-election hopes.

The story is called “The Competitor in Chief — Obama Plays To Win, In Politics and Everything Else.” It is devastating.

With such a title, and from such a friendly organ, at first I thought Jodi Kantor’s piece would be a collection of Obama’s greatest political wins: His rapid rise in Illinois, his win over Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democratic primaries, the passage of health care, and so on.

But the NYT piece is not about any of that. Rather, it is a deep look into the two outstanding flaws in Obama’s executive leadership:

1. How he vastly overrates his capabilities:

But even those loyal to Mr. Obama say that his quest for excellence can bleed into cockiness and that he tends to overestimate his capabilities. The cloistered nature of the White House amplifies those tendencies, said Matthew Dowd, a former adviser to President George W. Bush, adding that the same thing happened to his former boss. “There’s a reinforcing quality,” he said, a tendency for presidents to think, I’m the best at this.

2. How he spends extraordinary amounts of time and energy to compete in — trivialities.

For someone dealing with the world’s weightiest matters, Mr. Obama spends surprising energy perfecting even less consequential pursuits. He has played golf 104 times since becoming president, according to Mark Knoller of CBS News, who monitors his outings, and he asks superior players for tips that have helped lower his scores. He decompresses with card games on Air Force One, but players who do not concentrate risk a reprimand (“You’re not playing, you’re just gambling,” he once told Arun Chaudhary, his former videographer).
His idea of birthday relaxation is competing in an Olympic-style athletic tournament with friends, keeping close score. The 2009 version ended with a bowling event. Guess who won, despite his history of embarrassingly low scores? The president, it turned out, had been practicing in the White House alley.

Kantor’s piece is full of examples of Obama’s odd need to (a) dominate his peers in everything from bowling, cards, golf, basketball, and golf (104 times in his presidency). Bear in mind, Obama doesn’t just robustly compete. The leader of the free world spends many hours practicing these trivial pursuits behind the scenes. Combine this weirdly wasted time with a consistent overestimation of his capabilities, and the result is, according to NYT’s Kantor:

He may not always be as good at everything as he thinks, including politics. While Mr. Obama has given himself high grades for his tenure in the White House — including a “solid B-plus” for his first year — many voters don’t agree, citing everything from his handling of the economy to his unfulfilled pledge that he would be able to unite Washington to his claim that he would achieve Israeli-Palestinian peace.

Those were not the only times Mr. Obama may have overestimated himself: he has also had a habit of warning new hires that he would be able to do their jobs better than they could.

“I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters,” Mr. Obama told Patrick Gaspard, his political director, at the start of the 2008 campaign, according to The New Yorker. “I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m going to think I’m a better political director than my political director.”

Though he never ran a large organization before becoming president, he initially dismissed internal concerns about management and ended up with a fictionalized White House and a fuzzier decision-making process than many top aides wanted.

Kantor’s portrait of Obama is stunning. It paints a picture of a CEO who is unfocused and lost.

Imagine, for a minute, that you are on the board of directors of a company. You have a CEO who is not meeting his numbers and who is suffering a declining popularity with his customers. You want to help this CEO recover, but then you learn he doesn’t want your help. He is smarter than you and eager to tell you this. Confidence or misplaced arrogance? You’re not sure at first. If the company was performing well, you’d ignore it. But the company is performing poorly, so you can’t.

With some digging, you learn, to your horror, that the troubled CEO spends a lot of time on — what the hell? — bowling? Golf? Three point shots? While the company is going south?

What do you do? You fire that CEO. Clint Eastwood was right. You let the guy go.

With the "Debt Clock" streaming past $16 Billion dollars during the Democratic National Convention, with over 1/3 of this amount added by this Doodler-In-Chief in only four years, some decisions just seem simpler to make, during this Carter's Second Term, than others when the light of truth shines upon them.

Let 'im go.

Of Clint Eastwood, Chairs, And A Job Well Done

Of Clint Eastwood, Chairs, And A Job Well Done

The presentations at the Republican National Convention (RNC) were strong with a theme that was gifted to the Republicans through an unscripted moment in a campaign speech (are there any other kinds of public address with Barry?) delivered by our 44th President, Barack Obama.

Mr. Obama mocked successful business owners through the phrase brought about when he characterized these business owners as being smarter or gaming the system when they built there businesses and hired people saying “You didn’t build that”, insinuating that businesses would not exist without help from the Government.

The RNC said over, and over again – We Built This!” – and tied the President to his failed record on job creation, the economy, the increase in debt, and with Clint Eastwood’s help, his lack of leadership for all Americans no matter party affiliation, ethnic background, religion, or talent.

Clint Eastwood was a surprise headline evening podium guest and instead of coming on stage with a tightly scripted presentation that included background video, testimonials, and props … save one. All Clint did was talk to the crowd and carried on a conversation with one prop, an empty chair.

The Empty chair, as explained by Clint Eastwood, was to symbolize our current president, Barack Obama.

What a classic metaphor which played on many levels – from this president not being in his chair while playing in one of his record number of golf outings (well over 100 games played since he assumed office), to being MIA (missing in action) on policies that promote as opposed to inhibit job creation and growth, to operating the government without a formal budget since taking office (that’s right, NO BUDGET), an additional 6 Trillion dollars added to our debt (a sum greater than what all other Presidents have added to the debt before Obama), and finally, the concept of “Leading From Behind” in all things relating to foreign affairs (and really, there is much, much more).

“So I’ve got Mr. Obama sitting here and I just was going to ask him a couple of questions. But you know, I remember 3½ years ago when Mr. Obama won the election and, no, I wasn’t a big supporter,” Eastwood said as he looked at the empty stool next to his podium.

“I was watching that night when he was having that thing and they were talking about hope and change,” he added. “‘Yes we can’ and it was dark and outdoors and it was nice, people were lighting candles, they were saying ‘I just thought this is great.’ Everybody’s crying, Oprah was crying. And I was even crying.”
“I haven’t cried that hard since I found out that there’s 23 million unemployed people in this country. Now that is something to cry for because that is a disgrace, a national disgrace, and we haven’t done enough; obviously, this administration hasn’t done enough to cure that,” he said.

The actor, who officially endorsed Romney earlier this month, continued on a winding rant in which he hit the president for failing to keep his many 2008 promises.

“Somebody had the stupid idea of trying terrorists in downtown New York City. … I know you were against the war in Iraq and that’s OK, but you thought the war in Afghanistan was OK. You thought that was something worth doing. We didn’t check with the Russians to see how they did there for the 10 years,” Eastwood said.

“I’m not going to shut up. It’s my turn,” the actor blurted out a few moments later, still glancing over at the make-believe Obama sitting in the empty chair next to him. “I just wondered, all these promises, and then I wondered about you know, … what do you want me to tell Romney? I can’t tell him that. … Tell him yourself. You’re absolutely crazy.”

Photo “Tweeted” by Barack H. Obama, himself. Tweet: This seat’s taken. http://OFA.BO/c2gbfi , pic.twitter.com/jgGZTb02 – The fact that this 44th President couldn’t pass the chance to respond speaks volumes.

This back and forth with the empty chair was amusing and, to the Obama faithful, disrespectful. Clint Eastwood understood the depth of this metaphor and I think he knew it would get under the very thin skin of this “Child-King” executive leader who currently occupies the office.

Eastwood went on - "I would just like to say something, ladies and gentlemen. Something that I think is very important.  It is that, you, we -- we own this country.

We -- we own it.  It is not you owning it, and not politicians owning it.  Politicians are employees of ours."

Clint then addressed the crowd in the hall and on the camera with this line – “Whether you are a Democrat or Republican or whether you’re libertarian or whatever, you are the best. And we should not ever forget that. And when somebody does not do the job, we got to let them go.”

Clint Eastwood is right, we, as Americans living during Carter's Second Term, have to let this 44th President and his administration go come November 2012.

Mitt Romney Scores Big With Blue Collar Backbone In Ohio

Last week, soon after his announcement of embracing Congressman (WI) Paul Ryan as his running mate, Mitt Romney scheduled a meeting with coal miners in eastern Ohio. The photo at the top of this posting was one of the main photos of the event ... all pretty standard stuff with the Republican nominee for president 2012 shaking hands with workers.

What wasn't broadcast broadly was this photo posted by a conservative blog that showed the anticipation and participation from these unionized workers, many of whom generally vote Democrat in support of their union labor vocations.

Romney focuses on coal during Ohio speech
BY JIM PROVANCE - BLADE COLUMBUS BUREAU CHIEF - Published: 8/14/2012

Mitt Romney today stood in front of eastern Ohioans seemingly straight out of the mine — hard hats, smudged faces, and blue and gray uniforms — as he accused President Obama of “waging war” on coal.

"He’s for all the sources of energy that come from above the ground, none of the sources below the ground, like oil and coal and gas,” the presumptive Republican nominee told a crowd outside American Energy Corp’s Century Mine near Beallsville, Belmont County.

"I’m for all of the above, whether it comes from above the ground or below the ground,” he said. “We’re going to take advantage of our energy resources to save your jobs, create more jobs, and, by the way, when we use our plentiful energy resources, our inexpensive carbon-based resources, you’re going to see manufacturing come back to America…,” he said.

“By the end of my second term — hopefully, I get that first and second term — we will have North American energy independence,” he said. “We won’t have to buy oil from Venezuala of the the Middle East.”

The president's campaign refuted Mr. Romney's comments about coal today.

“Only one candidate in this race actually has a record of finding a clean future for coal, and that’s President Obama,'' said Obama spokesman Lis Smith. "President Obama has increased investments in the research and development of clean coal technology and employment in the mining industry hit a 15-year high in 2011.
----
On the outskirts of Beallsville, there’s no doubt that coal is king. Signs dot the rural roads: “Stop the war on coal. Fire Obama.”
----
He didn’t mention his new running mate, Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan, until near the end of his nearly 20-minute speech and then it was a passing reference. Mr. Ryan is expected at Miami University in Oxford on Wednesday.

The mining industry has a love-hate relationship with southeast Ohio, balancing thousands of jobs against environmental concerns. A subsidiary of Murray Energy, the largest private coal company in the United States, recently pleaded guilty and faces millions in penalties for a nearby pipeline rupture that polluted Captina Creek.

Another subsidiary in nearby Brilliant has blamed federal regulation for its plans to close.

Mr. Romney told the crowd that the Democratic
[Democrat Political Party] must win Ohio to win re-election.

“To win Ohio, he’s got to win eastern Ohio, and he’s got to get the votes of the people in these communities all around us here, and you’re not going to let that happen, because you’re going to keep our jobs,” he said. “You’re going to keep Ohio strong and bring back America.”

He targeted his message directly toward his audience.

“We’ve 250 years left of coal,” he said. ‘’Why in the world wouldn’t we use it?”
----
“(Mr. Obama) says he’s for coal, but the regulation he’s putting on coal is making it basically impossible for us to mine the coal,” said Shawn Schoolcraft, of St. Clairsville, who has worked for two years as a roof-bolter at the deep mine Mr. Romney visited today.

“Underground, they don’t want us to have so much dust … and with EPA with the power plants, they’re killing so many megawatts that our plants just can’t run as clean as they want them to run,” he said.

As the attitudes of these blue collar Democrats have shown, the erosion that Obama policies have had on many voting blocks will not have these blocks be as strong as they were in 2008.

We just hope that the discontent generated with ObamaCare, running the country with NO BUDGET in three years (over 1,000 days), increased federal regulations that are chocking off business activity through the increase in time required to report back to the Government on compliance, a foreign policy that is characterized as "Leading From Behind" as opposed to standing on principle and traditional relationships, and this 44th Executive Branch's war on traditional religion through healthcare regulations, has people lining up at the voting polls just as the miners above were lining up to hear Mitt Romney address the gathered crowd.

As far as voter fraud is concerned ... "If It Ain't Close They Can't Cheat!". Vote early and often for Romney Ryan 2012!

Say Hey! Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day In Northridge

Say Hey! Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day In Northridge

It is funny how a little thing like an interview given by a CEO in a special interest magazine, can be taken out of context and publicized by other special interest groups including the corporate media complex, motivates people to do something as simple as purchase a sandwich on a specific day.

Today, August 1, 2012 became Chick-fil-A appreciation day throughout the United States. The day was called as a show of support by Fox News Channel program host and former Governor Mike Huckabee for the statements made by Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy that had become the center of a boycott action by those who wish to change the definition of Marriage by homosexuals and those of a progressive political agenda to change our culture.

In an interview with the Baptist Press, Cathy says Chick-fil-A is “guilty as charged” when it comes to actively opposing marriage equality.

“I think we are inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say ‘we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage’ and I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about.”

Curious about the turnout, and wishing to show support, it was hard to find a Chick-fil-A location in the city of Los Angeles from the San Fernando Valley area. Only three locations might have been somewhat accessible - Santa Clarita Valley, Hollywood near Hollywood High School, and Northridge just south of Nordhoff Street on Tampa Ave. west of Cal State Northridge campus across the street from COSTCO.

At 12:30pm the Northridge location was jammed with a driving and standing room only crowd of people wanting to buy chicken sandwiches.

Observed was about 75 plus cars lined up in the drive through lane snaking out onto the south bound side of Tampa Ave. and back up toward Nordhoff filling the far right lane (seems appropriate). People were lined up to order from the counter to be served their sandwiches out the front door and stretching around the back of the building and into the parking lot. this crowd of like-minded supporters was at least 300 strong - parking across the street at the outer edges of the COSTCO parking lot made for an easy transition.

For those who did not have the time to wait the 45 minutes to an hour to be served, there was always ... just as at a popular church ... the "overflow room" across the street at the Christian friendly In-N-Out. A Win/Win all the way around.

The call had gone out on Twitter to have those who wished to push back on this appreciation day and hold a "Kiss In", to show up at their local Chick-fil-A and ... well, kiss in public. The only kissing going on around this location in Northridge was the kiss of cash to Chick-fil-A PoS devices or the PoS devices across the street at In-N-Out!

Cars stacked up in the right-hand turn into the driveway of Chick-fil-A. Image Credit: Edmund Jenks (2012)

Today, God has blessed Dan Cathy and Chick-fil-A for standing strong against the winds of progressive intolerance and boycott actions with what may become a record setting retail day in the annuals of prepared food retailing!

ObamaCare Repeal Vote Not Showcase Or Futile

The House vote repealing ObamaCare sends a significant message across America – the high court got this one wrong. Most Americans understand the only way to correct this injustice is to repeal the health care law. Image Credit: ACLJ.com

ObamaCare Repeal Vote Not Showcase Or Futile

The Liberal Media take on the House of Representatives vote of 244-185 vote to repeal the ObamaCare health care law is that it's a "dog and pony" show. It is a futile attempt that will go nowhere as it faces certain demise in the Democrat-controlled Senate, and that this effort represents the 33rd time the House has gone to this well ... but there is a completely different take that few are articulating or, for that matter, shouting from the rooftops between now and the election in November.

Aside from the fact that this is only the second time that Congress has voted directly on the REPEAL of ObamaCare since the 2010 election, this passing vote lays down the marker of what most of the voting public wishes to see and that the only way to complete the process of REPEAL and REPLACE is to deliver a Senate and Executive Branch that are committed to vote for repeal as well.

Again, to be clear, with this affirmative vote for REPEAL, the House of Representatives are locked and loaded to kill this harmful law and we need to REPLACE enough committed members in the Senate and boot the 44th President, his Cabinet (which he apparently doesn't need or respect), and his 36 or so Czars out of office this November 2012.

This information on the number of time Congress has voted to repeal the ObamaCar law excerpted and edited from Hot Air -

The No. 33, and the surprisingly bipartisan art of repeal
posted at 5:26 pm on July 11, 2012 by Mary Katharine Ham

Today marks the 33rd vote the Republican-led Congress has taken to repeal all or part of ObamaCare. Many media outlets are using the stat du jour as sort of de facto proof of repeal’s futility. Look at these silly, extremist Republicans, tilting at government-subsidized windmills 33 times!

The fact is this is only the second vote on total repeal, the first one coming in January of 2011 after Americans elected a wave of 63 new Republicans to, you know, repeal ObamaCare. Both votes for full repeal, in 2011 and 2012, were more bipartisan than the vote to pass ObamaCare, with three and five Democrats crossing over to the Republican side, respectively.
----
The figure 33, of course, includes all sorts of bills that were only tangentially about ObamaCare repeal, or tweaked small parts of the bill, often with Democratic endorsement and votes. It includes several bills passed with hard-fought compromise later signed by Obama, like the debt-ceiling deal, and other bills that accomplished Obama’s legislative goals, such as the payroll tax cut extension bill.

So, are the House’s machinations futile and extreme?

There’s already been bipartisan cooperation in repealing large parts of the health care law in the House— the 1099 reporting requirement and the CLASS Act.

The very first part of ObamaCare to get the knife was the 1099 reporting requirement. That extremist bit of legislation passed the Senate 87-12 and the House, 314-112, and landed on the President’s desk for signing on April 14. The 1099 reporting requirement was one of the funding fictions ObamaCare supporters used to make it look as if the President’s plan would fulfill his promise not to “add a dime to the deficit.” Post-passage it was almost universally recognized as unworkable. It would have required businesses to fill out an IRS form (1099) for every $600 of staples and printer paper they bought at Target within a calendar year. It closed a loophole, and that loophole was shopping.

When it was repealed, Obama called it “a big win for small business.”

“Small business owners are the engine of our economy and because Democrats and Republicans worked together, we can ensure they spend their time and resources creating jobs and growing their business, not filling out more paperwork,” said the noted extremist.

The CLASS Act accounted for half of the Affordable Care Act’s
[ObamaCare] claims of deficit reduction, but in February of 2012, it too was repealed by the House, with more than 28 Democrats crossing over to help. Obama’s deficit commission recommended its repeal and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius admitted the program could not work.
----
The CLASS Act is still on the books, threatening to fall apart the moment someone tries to implement it. Democrats aren’t anxious to kill off what Sen. John Thune called a “zombie” program for fear of losing the funding fiction it supports and ceding momentum to repeal efforts.

The 1099 repeal was the culmination of an eight-month-long fight.

Nancy Pelosi once said we needed to pass the health care bill to see what was in it. Once we found out, it turned out repealing large parts of it would be a “big win for small businesses,” and save us from giant entitlements without a “viable path” forward. Republicans will and should keep trying to remove these boondoggles, and sometimes it’s gonna take quite a few tries. It always does with zombies.

Keep the current House of Representatives who are a proven force for REPEAL, replace the Senate Democrats that are up for re-election with committed conservatives who will work for a smaller Government and the REPEAL of the ObamaCare law, and REPLACE Barack Obama and the rest of his executive branch with Mitt Romney come November 2012.
